Frankie Chili, like Mladin, finally got to ride the newgeneration Suzuki Gsxr in 2001.
The combination of racing stateside in AMA and continuing to develop the Gsxr through the Alstare team helped Suzuki, in Japan, craft updates for this fifth-generation model.
It also helped determine areas to improve for future Suzuki Gsxrs.
