The 2000 Gsxr 750 engine

The 2000 Suzuki Gsxr 750 engine took the splitcrankcase design one step further by integrating the cylinder block and the upper crankcase.
Casting techniques were developed at Suzuki moto that allowed this part to be manufactured according to desirably tighter tolerances with excellent repeatability.
As a result, the new engine was lighter, yet more powerful, than before.
