A thoroughly revised rear suspension system used a Showa integral-reservoir shock with full adjustability.
Suzuki moto also retained a threaded fork at the top shock mount to facilitate changes in ride height without altering spring preload.
A race kit from the company provided the necessary shims, but the aftermarket also filled this demand.
