Kayaba (KYB) also supplied the Suzuki Gsxr 1000's rear suspension. The integral-reservoir shock had an aluminum body and comprehensive adjustability. The Gsx R 1000 carried a 6-inch-wide rear wheel wearing a 190 mm-wide tire that Bridgestone developed specifically for this bike's performance characteristics.
