From the front, the main differences between the Gsxr 1000 and the Gsxr 750 were the 1000's gold-colored fork tubes and the six-piston front brakes.
There were other, much more subtle cues-such as the slightly larger lower fairing-but Suzuki played the conservative styling card with the Gsxr 1000.
Once again, the parts-sharing scheme permitted the company to produce the three models for much less than the cost of developing three uniquely individual Gsxrs.
