To accommodate the high speeds predicted for the Suzuki Gsxr 1000, a set of six-piston calipers gripped floating 310 mm rotors.
The Kayaba fork's titanium-nitride finish reduced friction for an improved ride, and the Gsxr 1000 had higher spring and damping rates compared to the Gsxr 750.
