The oil moving rapidly

The central idea in getting oil cooling to work properly is to force it onto the surface with sufficient energy to break through the boundary layer - that area where the oil movement tends to slow and heat builds up - and to keep it moving in sufficient quantity to move the heat out of the engine through an extra-large oil cooler.
The drainback tubes highlighted in the front of the engine help keep the oil moving rapidly back to the extralarge sump.
